Hey, I am Charl....

To sum me up in a few words, well... lets start with; Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer, coffee addict, chocoholic, certified social media geek and traveler of the world (well, I am still getting there). This last bit should be removed but I am still hoping for the best since the last year or two. I am in my twenties and the youngest brother of three. I grew up in a small town called Dendron in Limpopo about 70km north of Polokwane! I am privileged enough to still call this home! I am a lover of nature and definitely a dog person! When I’m not behind the camera or editing, you can find me either enjoying a weekend away with friends and family or just enjoying a laid- back weekend at home. I started documenting weddings of friends and family members to build up my portfolio at a very young age. I obviously didn’t know much then.

While I put my heart and soul into my work, I also strive to maintain

a professional atmosphere for clients as well as their families. Continuing my education as a photographer is something I value greatly, so I make it a point to attend regular workshops and conferences within the photo community to better myself and my brand. In 2013, I started my own business and have never looked back! I started off with a short course or two at the Open Window Institute in Centurion and afterwards attended a few wedding workshops. I once read that a brand is not just a logo, business card or a website but a experience and after this decided to give more attention

I have always believed in simplicity. Rather than only documenting all of the big events, I try to capture the small details and special moments that make the day truly memorable.
